Many hospitals refused to treat with safe, proven treatments like inhaled budesonide. They were eager to immediately give you the toxic drug Remdesivir and put you on a ventilator where you most likely did not survive.

Laura Bartlett is an unconstrained voice championing patient rights. After walking away from a million-dollar business, she became a relentless advocate against hospital coercion during COVID-19—free from employers, licenses, or institutions to silence her.
Her mission: to protect patients from harmful protocols, promote early treatments, and empower families with tools to assert autonomy. From amplifying her brother Dr. Richard Bartlett’s early budesonide protocol to launching Hospital Hostage Help. The widely used “Current Caregivers and Consent” document was conconceived by an anonymous hospital insider - an attorney and hospital administrator-with whom Laura collaborated during Covid hospital rescues. She has given patients leverage inside hospitals where consent was often ignored.
Despite censorship, financial loss, and systemic pushback, she has persisted—helping families negotiate care, exposing coercive practices, and proving that one determined voice can disrupt medical abuse. Her work equips patients to defend their rights and navigate a healthcare system shielded by the PREP Act’s immunity.
